We all like to have the best equipment. But sometimes, the cash just isn’t there. The fact that the right equipment isn’t there should not stop you from taking that shot! In the world of DIY there is always a low cost solution.
In this case I am talking about a DIY shutter release cable. While a shutter release can be picked up on the cheap, sometimes that is not enough.
This particular solution requires little effort and will cost about $3. Please note though, it will only work with those cameras which use a 2.5mm plug.
Just follow these simple instructions. While this might not be the most professional, it will get you through until a true shutter release can be purchased.
