Traveling Photography

road-trip

Ah the open road. Nothing beats it. Especially when it comes to photography. Everything is new, everything is cool. By god there are some amazing shots to capture. But there are a few things to remember.

When in a wild new area. Things that may impress you, may not impress others. Just because you have never seen a tree before, does not mean we need to see fifty pictures of them. Make the shot interesting and do what you would do at home.

Now, don’t forget that you will probably be away from your entire set off tools for some time. Bring extra memory cards. Bring extra batteries. The last thing you want is to find the perfect shot and not be able to take it.

Even more important is to do a double check before you leave. Make sure the battery is in the camera, as well as a memory card. Be sure you have lenses and a tripod. Leaving something at home is a costly mistake.

So, on that next trip, be prepared. But more importantly, have fun.
